About us

The Westborough Civic Club was organized in 1975 for the sole purpose of benefiting the Town of Westborough and its residents . The Club is comprised of civic-minded men and women from all walks of life who derive satisfaction through personal participation in fund raising activities in a dynamic, social, community-based organization. New members are always welcome, join us!

Our primary fund raising activity is the sale of Christmas Trees each year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Members do all the work (with a little help from our friends), including: ordering materials and stock, setting up the tree lot, handling thousands of trees and wreaths, tree sales and clean-up. It's a real team effort with hard work that is rewarding to all involved. Westborough and surrounding communities look forward to the tree lot set-up as the signal that the holiday season has begun and Santa will soon be here!

Our annual Fishing Challenge is held each May at Minuteman Park in Westborough from 9 AM to 1 PM.  More details on this will be available as we get closer to Spring.

Our meetings include dinner and conversation in an informal atmosphere. The first meeting of the month features a speaker, with the purpose of informing Club members on local current events, matters of general interest or presenting a request for funding.  Please contact us at info@westborocivicclub.com for more information.
